2/10/09 escape from memory One event in my book is when Kira remembers what happened to her family. The cause is that her father and mother put their memories into a computer and then put them into Kira's brain. She could only remember them is she was hypnotized. The effect was that she remembered them and made a plan she could save her mother from Rona (an evil woman determined to learn Kira's mothers secrets).
2.5/09 Pictures of Hollis Woods One thing I disagreed with was when Hollis left her family.They wanted her to stay there so why did she leave? She thought the truck accident was her fault but that is no reason to leave. I disagree because her family was being nice to her and she never had a family so she should not have left. She even said she wanted to stay there but she left anyway. If it were me I would have stayed.
1/22/09 Hate that cat I would like to persuade the main character to stop hating cats. He talks about hating them so much I think he should stop. Not all cats are mean like the big black cat that scratches him. He has a little kitten that is nice so I think he should know that all cats are not mean. Yes, the kitten will grow into a cat but that does not mean that it won't be nice. He thinks all cats are mean and that he will never get a cat. I think the kitten he got will show him that all cats a good. All cats are not mean and that little kitten he got proves it.There is a cat in his backyard that is mean. He is always saying he hates that cat but I think he feels sorry for it.

1/5/09 Two goals for the new yearGood Choice for your #1 Goal!
One goal is to stop worrying about school work. Every time I get a homework assignment I do it as soon as I get home.Then the next day at school I will be all stressed out until I get to that class. If I think that I lost I get really stressed. I want to stop worrying about school. School is important but I worry about it to much.
Another goal is need to have neater writing. I think so because in math today Mrs.Bower was talking about neatness and my paper was not very neator organized.There were math problems all over my paper and they were very unorganized. I should work on my writing to become neater. Lucky for me I can type!
12/18/08 The outsiders In my book the main problem is the rich kids that live on the west side of town. They are the main problem because they are mean to the other kids. The rich kids beat the other kids up and they steal from them too.The main character got beat up. The poor kids live on the east side of town and they smoke and try to get back at the rich kids for what they do. The main characters friend killed on of the rich kids and that kids friends are mad and want to kill the other kids. You see that they are a problem? I think they all get along in the end.I think that the rich kids are doing this because they are so rich and have so much time that they are bored.
12/17/08 Turnabout My book is about a experiment that is illegal but is tested on elderly people. The experiment is supposed to turn people back into children. This experiment is illegal because it was not approved by the FDA. This book takes place in the future so there are many things they have in the year 2058 that we do not have now.
1.There is an autopilot in your car.
2.There is a spray that you put on cuts that will heal them instantly.
3.The police have a weapon detector that detects if you have a weapon.
4.I think that the environment is so bad that they had to make some property protected.
5.There is a cure for cancer.(the weird part is there is not a cure for the common cold!)
6. There are satellites that know when you are speeding
7.Instead of answering machines there are robots that can respond to the caller.
12/15/08 Online journal My dad really didn't want to help me on my journal. I made him do it anyway. He said that I needed to write more in my journal.
I said that I needed more details. He gave me a 3 because I had 5-7 sentences each day. I think that was probably right because I needed more details too.The first thing I gave him was my rubric he said " of course I am going to give you a 4". Then he commented on the blog.
12/9/08 Drive by One important event was when Tito found the note and money in Jimmy's things. There was a lot of money and in the note Jimmy told him to use it. This was important because the note explained that Jimmy was in a gang even though Tito thought that he was not. The money was what Jimmy stole from the gang he was in and Tito thinks he has to return it. I think Tito will return it and the people in the gang will leave him alone.
Another important thing was were Jimmy got shot. The gang that killed him pulled up and shot him, Tito recognized their car because on taillight was red and one was orange I think he got shot because he owed his gang money. This was important because it is the mystery of the story.Tito has to find out why Jimmy got shot so he can tell the police why.
12/8/08 Storm Warning The main character in my book is Storm. Storm is part if a blogging group started by one of her friends. Storms dad is suffering from depression and Storm thinks that she is doing a lot to make him mad at her. Her friend is a cheer leader and Storm once tried a cheer and landed on top of a popular boy in her school. I think Storm comes from Mexico because of the type of clothes that she wears. I think she was embarrassed of her clothes because she used to change them when she got to school and her parents did not know. Storm thinks she is a failure to them and that she can not help her dad in any way.
12/4/08 I had trouble getting to solla sollew I think the point of the story is that you will have trouble no matter what.The person tried to not have trouble but had trouble anyway. The more he tried to not have trouble, the more he had trouble. Then finally he thought his trouble was gone and he could relax in solla sollew but he could not even get in! So the more trouble you go through the more you will have.
12/4/08 Friendly Foal In my book a problem was that Sal was going to take her horse back to Argentina but Winnie is not done trying to get him to like people. I think Winnie should help him now because she has not even started yet. Another problem is that her dads inventor friend is mad at him and he does not spend time with Winnie because he mises his friend.

12/2/08 In the land of the big red apple In my book Rose tells a lie that her friends older brother was courting another girl when he was not. Then he found out but was not mad at her.Then he helps Rose and her family find a lot of bees and honey that they can sell for a lot of money. They found the bees by putting molasses in a wood box and putting flour on the bees that came. Then when the bees went back to get more bees, they went in the direction the bees came from.Then Roses father got her and her friend an ax so they can help to cut sprouts off the apple trees.Rose did and she was tired of it soon because she got bitten by bugs and it was really hot.

11/12/08 Gathering Blue Kira finds Jo, a toddler that can sing really good. Jo is supposed to be the new singer. The best part was when the council introduced her to the crowd and Jo waved at them. Jo is locked in her room but Thomas carved a key that can unlock it.
11/11/08 The Best Part So Far....... Would be the part where Kira and Thomas give Matt a bath because it was so funny. Matt didn't want a bath and greatly protested this one. Kira and Thomas dragged him into the tub and dumped water on him. Thomas mercilessly scrubbed Matt and his dog until they were clean. Matt says ''You're drowning me!'' but Kira and Thomas don't listen to him. After the bath Matt's friends make fun of him and that makes him hate baths more. The bath made him really clean and fresh. The funnest part was when the book says that Matt and his dog were wailing and whimpering as Thomas scrubbed them clean.

In my book Winnie finds a new horse that is about 21 years old.Then she finds out that the horse,Gracie,is going to have a baby! I predict that Winnie will keep the baby if it doesn't die before it's born, but I don't think it will die. I think that Winnie will try to find Gracie's owner.Maybe Winnie will decide not to keep the baby? Maybe her dad won't let her keep it? Winnie's dad wants her to put Gracie to sleep, but I think Winnie won't let him. I think in the end Gracie will have her baby and everyone will be happy.

I predict that at the end of the book Melinda will get all A's on her report card. She has been trying to work hard but still has C's and D's. I predict that she will also have a lot of friends at the end of the book.She just lost a friend and she wants to make more friends.I predict that her parents will get divorced and she will want to live with her dad because she does not like her mom.

I predicted that Melinda was going to join a group and find one she likes. Instead it sounds like she doesn't like any group. She has not joined one. Her friend Heather joined one but Melinda didn't. I do not think Heather really likes her group she just wants to impress them.

In my book a girl, (I don't know her name) goes to merry weather high. She has no friends. She doesn't like school.She wants a friend,but doesn't think she can make one. I think at the end of the book she will have lots of friends and maybe like school.She makes fun of the teachers.

The main character in my book is Marley. Marley is a dog that is very energetic.His owner tried to enroll Marley in a dog school but he was kicked out! Marley is the most energetic dog I have ever heard about and he tears up things. The worst thing about Marley is that he is scared of thunder storms and tears everything up that he can.

Kira finds Jo, a toddler that can sing really good. Jo is supposed to be the new singer. The best part was when the council introduced her to the crowd and Jo waved at them. Jo is locked in her room but Thomas carved a key that can unlock it.
11/11/08 The Best Part So Far.......
Would be the part where Kira and Thomas give Matt a bath because it was so funny. Matt didn't want a bath and greatly protested this one. Kira and Thomas dragged him into the tub and dumped water on him. Thomas mercilessly scrubbed Matt and his dog until they were clean. Matt says ''You're drowning me!'' but Kira and Thomas don't listen to him. After the bath Matt's friends make fun of him and that makes him hate baths more. The bath made him really clean and fresh. The funnest part was when the book says that Matt and his dog were wailing and whimpering as Thomas scrubbed them clean.

1.Kira's mother died and Kira is the only one in her family now.
2.Vandara tells Kira that she will kill Kira and take her living space to build a pen for her children.
3.Vandara and Kira go to the council of guardians to solve their problem.
4.Vandara tells the council that Kira was useless and should have been killed as a baby.
5.The council gives Kira a job and gives Vandara Kira's space.
11/7/08 Gift Horse
In my book Winnie finds a new horse that is about 21 years old.Then she finds out that the horse,Gracie,is going to have a baby! I predict that Winnie will keep the baby if it doesn't die before it's born, but I don't think it will die. I think that Winnie will try to find Gracie's owner.Maybe Winnie will decide not to keep the baby? Maybe her dad won't let her keep it? Winnie's dad wants her to put Gracie to sleep, but I think Winnie won't let him. I think in the end Gracie will have her baby and everyone will be happy.

Winnie tries to gentle Tawaco, a shy Appaloosa. Tawaco suddenly starts being aggressive and Winnie thinks its because he misses his owner, Hawk. Winnie tries to get Hawk to ride Tawaco, but that does not work because he bucks and tries to run away.
